Another tag game. How fun!

Note to Falchion49 – I was already planning to tag you for the gear grinders before I saw that you tagged me for dickhead. Looking forward to your response!

The faithcheck episode 6 is on its way, but we need to take a quick diversion – because I’ve been tagged by LaResistance86. She’s only been on Youtube for about 3 weeks and I expect we’ll see some great content from her channel. Thank you for the tag :-)

I was moments away from releasing this video when I noticed that I was also just tagged by Falchion49 for the Dickhead game! Unfortunately I jumped the gun and posted a dickhead video without being tagged (I think that makes me the dickhead for sure!). Here is the link to that video. And definitely, if you haven’t subbed Falchion49, I strongly recommend it.

I’ve put together a list of 5 things that grind my gears. (leaving out things that are common to everyone, like driving in traffic. Actually, any such thing that sucks up valuable time is the gear grinding trump card, so I’ll leave any other examples of that to go unspecified).

Number 1: It seams like everyone I meet turns out to be a moderate, loosely practicing Christian. I mean everyone – as in you meet some new friends or coworkers, you get drinks, hang out a bit, and eventually, inevitably, they try to share their faith with you – and they have a soft spot for Jesus that affects your ability to have a real conversation. Just when things were going so well.

Number 2: Any time I hear a news anchor talking about faith – it grinds my gears to see how cautious they are to respect whatever the faith claim is. Even when talking about little weird cults.

Number 3: Any time I accidentally watch a clip from Fox News, it not only grinds my gears, but it increases the circulatory fluidic temperature by about 50%. Since I know that so many people in the USA trust this as their source of information, I wonder how we will ever see progress.

Number 4: Hearing someone loudly quoting the bible in an argument. Remember the gear grinding trump card I mentioned earlier? Wasting time? This is the worst offender. After facial expression and body language, verbal conversation is the fastest, most efficient way to communicate. Even still, it is inefficient, and every split second of conversation is precious. So when people spend that time quoting scripture loudly, it grinds my gears to a screeching halt.

Finally, Number 5 – on a much lighter note: Anyone who has ever worked in sales should identify with this one.

And now for the tags. I’d like to get a Christian’s perspective, so I’ll also tag 1God1Jesus and Edward Current. Also falchion49, Fishhead Salad, heyduffy459.
